Caprice Birker received her Diploma in Design from Berlin University. She has always had a passion for developing her own designs and eventually, in 2009, she decided to launch her own label and workshop, "Capstatt - The Workshop for Handmade Design". Since then her desire has been to offer truly original and unique designs and to reinvigorate the German culture of crafted homemade items. Caprice lives and works in Glucksburg, in northern Germany.
